Goodbye to the blue links! It only took…13 months for me to get around to it. I’ll chalk it up to burn-out, which I think I’ve finally recovered from now after a 2-month dose of sanity. Hoo-rah!
So that was just some quick and easy CSS. (I’m staring at my sidebar still, contemplating if I want to knock that out right now or let the sleep in my eyeballs prevail. We shall see.)
I’ve gotta bigger fish to fry still: my whole animation drop-down (hasn’t been a burning priority since that’s kind of a supplemental skill for me), dynamic home page rotator using some featured image/WP query/javascript goodness; and adding menu support to my theme (again, not a burning priority since I know the straight up code). After those, I think all that will be left is some tweaking: I want to make my floaty a bit more elegant as far as the mouseover to bring the home button into view, Failmacs are adding some wonky pixels to my nav too but that’ll probably be solved when I get around to the menu support thing,
Oh wait, I lied. I oughta convert the whole thing to HTML5. And I want to build a mobile-optimized theme, using the framework I already have set up and basking in more of the glory of dynamically populated content. One post updates everything exactly where and how I want it: that’s my kind of coding. I love knowing how to do this.
